The new Addonics
Technologies' PocketSuperDisk is the
world's first LS-120 Drive that connects
to notebook and subnotebook PCs through
the PCMCIA slot. This unique feature
gives you access to data stored on 120MB
LS-120 disks, 720KB floppy disks and
1.44MB floppy disks, anywhere you use
your PC. If you're at work, in a hotel,
at a client's office or on a plane, if
you can use your notebook, you can use
the PocketSuperDisk Drive. At 6.9 x 4.9 x
0.9 inches in size and 13 oz. in weight,
the PocketSuperDisk is compact enough for
any briefcase, pocket or notebook PC
case.
The PocketSuperDisk is the perfect
accessory for the mobile professional who
needs access to large files. Using 120MB
capacity LS-120 disks make storing
information, backing up files and sharing
data easy. Best of all, since the
PocketSuperDisk is backward compatible
with floppy disks, you don't need a
separate floppy disk drive. The
PocketSuperDisk is two drives in one.
The PocketSuperDisk has a fast maximum
data transfer rate of 1.4MB per second
and extensive error recovery systems
built-in. It has a fast access time of
29ms and utilizes 16-bit data transfers.
The unit uses a PCMCIA connection for
data transfer and power. In addition,
this versatile unit can be powered from
the included keyboard power cord or the
optional AC/DC power adapter.
